Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) are engineered, multi-layer flooring products designed to replicate the look of natural hardwood, stone, and ceramic while offering greater durability and moisture resistance. Commercial-grade vinyl typically features a thicker wear layer (often 20 mil or more), a rigid or flexible core for stability, and realistic embossed textures.
For many businesses, commercial LVT and LVP have become a go-to flooring solution. They stand up to heavy foot traffic, rolling loads from carts and chairs, and daily wear, all while needing less upkeep than hardwood, stone, or carpet.
Most luxury vinyl is built in layers: a clear wear layer on top protects against scratches and scuffs, a printed design layer carries the wood or stone look, and a stable core (rigid or flexible) sits beneath. The wear layer is usually measured in mils, and a thicker wear layer generally holds up better in demanding commercial settings. Planks and tiles install either as a floating click-lock floor or glued directly to the subfloor, depending on the product and the space.
Because the finished surface is sealed and tight between pieces, LVT and LVP are easy to keep clean with routine sweeping and damp mopping, with no waxing, buffing, or refinishing required. That lower maintenance burden, combined with a comfortable feel underfoot and a wide range of realistic looks, is a big part of why so many offices, clinics, and shops choose it.

LVT and LVP will not swell, warp, or delaminate when exposed to moisture, a good fit for healthcare, kitchens, restrooms, and entryways.
Commercial wear layers (commonly 20 mil and up) resist scratches, scuffs, and stains from heavy traffic, rolling chairs, and routine cleaning.
No waxing, polishing, or sealing required. Regular sweeping and damp mopping keep commercial vinyl looking good for years.
Printing and embossing technology creates textures and patterns that closely mimic hardwood, marble, slate, and concrete.
Click-lock and glue-down formats are designed for straightforward installation, which helps limit disruption to your space.
A resilient core provides some cushioning underfoot and reduces impact sound compared with hard tile or concrete.
Commercial LVT and LVP suit a wide range of settings. Their water resistance and easy upkeep make them a natural fit for busy, spill-prone spaces, while realistic wood and stone looks keep them at home in more polished environments. Common applications include:
